Summary
World Poker Exchange is managed by the leading offshore sports book WSEX (this
room was formerly WSEX Poker). This provides an advantage both in allowed
deposit levels as well as an inexperienced customer base from the main portal.
Often there are quite nice promotions. The traffic is decent, where the action
is concentrated to the limit Texas Holdem tables. The software is OK, with a
nice interface. Worldpokerexchange offers Backgammon play for real money as a
special feature.
Software and graphics
The software has gone through some changes and have nice graphics and good
playability. Hand history is available as HTML page and via email. The graphics
are nice.
Ring game traffic
WSEX ring game traffic is decent, with 300-400 players at peak times.
Tournament traffic
The tournament traffic has grown lately, with 500-700 players at peak hours.
Game variety
WSEX has the standard games (hold'em, Omaha Hi/Lo and seven-card stud). Stakes
vary from $.10-$.20 to $30-$60 fixed limit and $10 to $400 no limit tables.
Rake
The rake is OK. The $20/$40 games are raked at $1 at $40, $70 and $100. The
tournaments fees from $10 to $50 have charges at 10%, with 9% for the $100 and
above fees.
Soft competition
We have yet to assess this first hand, but it is said to be juicy games in
particular when there are poker promotions at WSEX sports betting portal.

20% deposit match up to maximum $100. Play 500 raked hands ("contributed raked
hands") within any time limit to get $100 (equals 5 contributed raked pots per
dollar).
Loyalty bonus
Worldpokerexchange has a frequent player point system. The points can be used to
for tournament buy-ins..etc.

There is a wide range of smaller and larger promotions. Currently $50 referral
bonus is awarded for each referral depositing a minimum of $300 and playing more
than 5 hours during the month. A WSEX Virtual Challenge was organized in 2002 and
now again in 2003, in which entries to large offline tournaments are won.

Should be clearly secure, as the mother company is a quite well established
